Battlefield is excited to welcome Ms. Megan Codling to lead its Theatre program into a new era!
Ms. Codling grew up and just moved from Gilbert, Arizona to Virginia. She received her associates in Acting at Eastern Arizona College and then moved on to receive her bachelors in Theatre Education at Utah State University in the class of 2022. At Eastern and Utah State, she earned the opportunity to act, dramaturg, costume, and direct several main stage and student productions. She was also given the chance to collaborate with top individuals in their fields of theatre throughout her college career. Within this collaboration, she gained significant knowledge about several new and classic theatre practices that she believes will significantly improve students' understanding of theatre. Ms. Codling hopes to share these practices with you all throughout her time at Battlefield High! When she's not focusing on theatre, which is rare, Ms. Codling enjoys baking and embroidery.
